“Understand that when something doesn’t look right, or something isn’t popular, that doesn’t mean it’s ‘wrong’.” — Police Chief Benny Pina of Surprise, Arizona, 8:00 into video
~10:00 Police Chief Benny Pina goes on about shielding their identities (“doxxed” the Police Chief calls it) from the outraged public.
“Whilst in public, with zero expectation of privacy, “permission” of any kind is NOT and NEVER needed to “take my image” in video or photograph — What IS required is written permission to use any copyrighted imagery in a for-profit or gainful work such as a movie or product made for sale. Most persons do not own copyright of their self image (they would need to see ACE OF COINS site to learn about how to do that) and by participating in any recording or photograph without objection yield claim to their imagery. This is my understanding of how courts have generally ruled to-date.”
