Just in past few months has WTOP NEWS radio (and local TV stations, other Mass Media) been hyping about “wild fires” in the Washington, DC area, which for decades if not centuries has been ‘too wet’ with foliage far ‘too lush’ to allow any such fires to rage out-of-control and destroy structures, businesses, houses, neighborhoods.
