My uncle had those high tension power lines running past his L.I. N.Y. backyard. He got cancer in his arm and it had to be amputated. Then he died of brain cancer. My Aunt then had a large melanoma on her thigh that after removal left a large dent.
My Grandfathers 52 acre farm in southern Howard county was dissected by the Rt. 32 expansion several years ago, then the area was re-zoned to industrial commercial.
Everything you’ve said, I’ve tried to warn people of for decades! No one took me seriously. My response….. I don’t know why you don’t believe it, when it’s in every international agenda publicly of what’s coming.

Thanks for this story.The power is supposed to come from Pennsylvania (because Maryland doesn’t have enough power plants, being a Democratic state so pretending it’s green), plow through rural farmland, and end at these “data centers” in Frederick, a half-hour ride up US Rt 270 from Washington, DC and home of the Army’s Fort Detrick. As the Carroll County rep said, the government and utilities won’t be happy until they’ve wrapped this tiny little state in wire and driven every farmer out of business. I live near the affected area and believe that one reason locals are doing such a good job mobilizing against the government and business is that there’s just not that much land here, and the idea of treating the countryside here as if it were Texas or Alaska is ludicrous. There’s nowhere you can go in this entire state that’s not crossed by highways, power lines, or housing developments and that’s how a lot of people seem to want it.
Maryland closed two coal power plants along Potomac River in past few years.

There’s a company putting a solar field in our county right near my house. I looked up the name of the company -k onisto. I couldn’t find them. It’s called the Konisto project. I’m worried that it’s related. It’s not helping our town. It is an eyesore. And I’m concerned that it will start wildfires. We are in wildfire country. I live in a very small small town, maybe 2,500 people.

It’s not green at all. Don’t sign any long leases. I had an uncle that leased out his land for 99years to a hotel company. He lost it because over the course of time, the lease income didn’t account for the taxes increasing over time. It’s impossible to determine.
What these farmers seem to not comprehend. This is by design, and on purpose! They do not understand you do not own your land, for your own benefit!
This is a giant land grab. And it’s dangerous for people to live near those lines.
You should see all the south jersey (specifically southwest jersey where I am) that’s become, or is becoming, nothing but gigantic warehouses. Empty warehohses at that. Very sad
