“We are [and have been] eating our seed-corn” — Electricity, Water and Food costs will rise abruptly, noticeably. Living will become that much harder. Unless the USAF steps in to “own the weather by 2025” as it boasted back in 1996.
Current yearly demand 16.5 million acre-feet. Annual inflow 11.1 million acre-feet. Comments to these videos in early Feb 2026 note that Colorado snowpack is the lowest in recent history. This strongly indicates that official projections of ‘reaching minimum water-level needed to generate power’ will be reached by Dec 2026; that’s ten months away.
All the “water conservation achievements” to-date account for only 0.7% savings of what’s necessary to reach just parity (to stop the losses). When the water stops, it will be a shotgun blast to the gut. It will be one of if not the final nail in the coffin of California agriculture, fulfilling the (ostensible) Vatican / Jesuit intention of ending California, futher weakening the (largely Protestant, the foe giving reason for Jesuit existence) United States.
