Legit Homesteading Info
One of the info-densest, concisest videos I’ve found. Worthwhile.

I have been here in the Mountains of Central Montana for 50 years. I retired from mining in 2016 & began a revamp of my property. I started with a heated Greenhouse and a 9 month growing season. I bought 75-26’ Highway Guardrails to create raised beds 3’+ high. I brought in tons and tons of topsoils. Established easy to work raised beds using 17- 30 gallon water tanks. All of my current raised beds contain numerous types of vegetables. 36- tomato plants, green peppers, beans, peas, squash, zucchini’s, lettuce, radishes, as well as apples. Just about a complete acre of garden space close to my greenhouse. I am just completing my 4th Solar array for 21,400 watts of electricity production. I will have enough excess to heat everything on my property with my Battery Bank on location.
This year I incorporated veggies into my flower beds. Onion, okra, red cabbage, fennel, dill, squash, watermelon, tomatoes etc. I get some people stop by and tell me it’s a great idea. I don’t need a yard full of grass to mow and I have food right outside my door!
