Deputies in Ashe County, North Carolina stopped motorcyclist Stuart Mast over an alleged traffic violation in September of 2024. Within seconds of being pulled over, his life would be over. The local sheriff put out a statement to the public and the media that, as it turns out, is completely contradicted by the bodycam footage, which was just released. He stated the intent to choke him out… Guy died from choking… That’s murder.

2nd Officer exits vehicle and immediately pulls out a fire arm and points it at the back of the motorcyclist. Completely unprofessional and dangerous
He articulated that this was a pretextual stop based on a hunch. Premeditated murder. Death penalty.
Did that cop think choking someone would make them stop?? When you’re struggling for air, your natural response is to fight back. This was straight up murder.
Before any of this, the fact that they felt comfortable pulling a man over without even pretending to have probable cause indicates they are very comfortable working outside the law.
